Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 October 2026

About these terms

Declasp is a watch collection, ranking and discovery service operated by Harris Hyatt, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom and trading as Declasp. References to “Declasp”, “we”, “us” and “our” in these terms refer to that operator. When you use Declasp you are contracting with that operator. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. You can reach us through the Contact page.

Your account

You must be at least 16 to use Declasp. Please give accurate information, keep your login details safe, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Membership, trial and billing

Membership starts with a 30-day free trial with full access. Payment details are required to start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, membership then costs £59.99 every 2 years including VAT and renews automatically every 2 years until cancelled. One introductory trial is available per account, subject to eligibility.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, and refunds can be requested as set out in Paddle's Refund Policy.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including any right you may have to cancel, withdraw from a purchase or receive a refund under consumer law.

Cancelling membership vs deleting your account

Cancelling membership (through Manage billing) stops future renewals. You normally keep access until the end of your current trial or paid period. Cancelling during the trial means you will not be charged. Your account and data stay in place.

Deleting your account (from Settings › Privacy) is immediate and permanent once you confirm. Any live membership is cancelled with Paddle straight away, your access ends and your app data is deleted. Deleting your account does not by itself decide whether a refund is due — that is handled under Paddle's terms and your statutory rights.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use Declasp unlawfully, fraudulently, or to send spam.
  • Only upload images and content you have the right or permission to use.
  • Do not post illegal, abusive, infringing, misleading or harmful content, or harass others.
  • Do not try to access other users' accounts or private data, probe or interfere with our security, introduce malware, or scrape the service.
  • Do not copy, resell or reverse engineer the service.

Your content and public sharing

You keep ownership of the content you add. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it only as needed to run the service — including showing it to others where you choose to share it. Public profiles, shared collections or wishlist items, share links and Release Reaction comments can be seen by other people. Uploaded watch images are stored at web addresses that anyone with the link can open.

Moderation, suspension and termination

We may remove or hide content, or suspend or close accounts, for serious or repeated breaches of these terms, non-payment, or security or fraud risk. You can report content or copyright concerns through the Contact page.

Accuracy

Prices, values, reference numbers and community rankings come largely from users and may be inaccurate. Declasp is not financial or investment advice. We are independent and not affiliated with any watch brand.

Intellectual property

The Declasp service, its software, design and branding belong to the operator. Watch brand names, model names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used for identification only.

Service availability and changes

We work to keep Declasp running well, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features over time. Where a change materially affects your membership, we will tell you in advance where reasonably possible.

Our responsibility to you

We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will show the new date above and tell you about material changes where appropriate. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
